Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions
The senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions ('the HELP Committee') has jurisdiction over a wide range of important health policies and programs. In keeping with this responsibility, members for the committee provide oversight of the National Alzheimer's Plan process. We are counting on this committee to ensure that the Plan is regularly updated, implemented effectively, and fulfills the Congressional intent of the National Alzheimer's Project Act (P.L. 111-375).
Committee on Appropriations
The house Committee on Appropriations has jurisdiction over funding for many important Alzheimer's programs, including Alzheimer's research conducted at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
